Houman B. Shadab is a professor of law at New York Law School. He is an expert in financial law and regulation whose research focuses on hedge funds, derivatives, securitization, commercial transactions, and Bitcoin and blockchain technologies. Professor Shadab is a Director of the Center for Business and Financial Law and also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Taxation and Regulation of Financial Institutions. He often advises corporations, financial institutions, and startups on issues relating to compliance, litigation, and operations.
