Prof. George M. Giaglis
George Giaglis is Vice Rector and Professor of eBusiness at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece. He has previously worked with the University of the Aegean (Greece) and Brunel University (UK), while he has held visiting posts in universities in the UK, Denmark, Australia, USA and Finland.
His research and teaching interests focus on social network analytics, cryptocurrencies, eBusiness, mobile applications, and ubiquitous/pervasive information systems. He has published more than 150 articles in leading journals and international conferences, including the Information Systems Journal, the International Journal of Electronic Commerce, and the International Journal of Information Management. He is member of the editorial board of seven academic journals, including Telecommunications Policy, the International Journal of Mobile Communications and the Business Process Management Journal. Since 2014, he is academic co-director of the world’s first Master’s degree in Digital Currency, offered by the University of Nicosia.
